“Ancient Corinth and Nemea. Excursion and Wine routes in the sacred lands”

Heading west early in the monring, along the coastal road of Saronic Gulf, with its blue waters and beautiful views to the mountains of the Peloponnese.

Our first stop is at the Corinth Canal, a place not to be missed when touring the area. You may walk across the bridge to take pictures from both sides of the road.

Second stop of the tour is the Ancient Corinth, with its unexpectedly beautiful and well-preserved archaeological site. Our exploration includes sites such as temples, fountains, baths, marketplaces, arcades and more.  Following the signs of myth and history we will explore, throughout the third stop, both ancient and contemporary Nemea with its famous vineyards and wineries. The village of ancient Nemea is the well-known area of the ancient times for the mythical lion that Hercules killed.  There we will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the method of production of the famous wine of Nemea, to walk into vineyards and taste Greek fine wine.

On our return we enjoy the view of the beautiful vineyard spreading across the Holy Land embracing the churches, the columns, and the ancient temples. A magnificent environment!
