This tour will take you to the depths of ancient Greek religious mysticism by discovering all the myths that characterized this amazing place.

Delphi, situated in the same spot for thousands of years.  area which according to legend was the Navel of the Earth and where the Center of the Earth is located! Purify yourself in the waters of Castalia spring as the pilgrims used to do eons ago.  Then walk to see the Treasury of the Athenians and see the infamous Omphalos of Delphi, the center of earth as it is said.   Walk up the slope to the sanctuary and the Temple of Apollo where Pythia used to predict the future on her famous Tripod. Pass by the Theatre and go up the Stadium to visualize the ancient athletes competing to get the divine blessings. Don’t miss the breathtaking view down the snake-shaped valley formed as the legend says, by the dead body of titan Python slaughtered by God Apollo in order to avenge the miseries Python caused to his mother, Leto. Then the Museum of Delphi is where you can admire the famous almost alive statue of the Charioteer, the Sphinx of Delphi the Kouros brothers and an uncountable number of precious artifacts such as the unique examples of chryselephantine remains of statues and ceremonial items. Look for the Naxians Tresor, it is said it’s a Portal leading to the land beyond…
