Start your Tour at the Panathenaic Stadium, the modern Olympic games starting point and vibrate at the victorious echoing for the laurel-crowned athletes back in 1896. Then walk to the vast Olympian Zeus Temple to be amazed by the size of these magnificent ruins and the impressive view of the East wing of Parthenon and Adrian’s Arch, separating the old Greek city from the Roman. Then, through the Royal Gardens walk at the steps of the former royal family and discover the hidden gazebos with the lonely statues to reach the Parliament at Syntagma Square with the presidential Guards. Walk down the vibrant Panepistimiou Avenue to see the Garden of the Numismatic Museum, an architectural 19^th century masterpiece, former house of Heinrich Schliemann, the famous archaeologist (with possibility for an optional refreshment stop) and we continue with the Neoclassical Athenian Trilogy (Academy of Arts-University- Library) and through the picturesque alleys of Athens to reach Plaka.   

Site Stops: The Zeus Temple, Hadrian’s Arch, Panathenaic Stadium, National Garden, the former Queen Amalia’s Garden, The House of Parliament with the tomb to the unknown soldier, Numismatic Museum Garden, “Athenian Trilogy” at Panepistimiou Street.
